2264                                  LAWS OF MARYLAND                                Ch. 240

THIS SUBTITLE RATIFIES THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF ALL
BONDS ISSUED OR SOLD BY A DISTRICT BEFORE JUNE 1, 1961.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 671(d).

In subsection (b) of this section, the former
references to "authorization" and "authorized"
are deleted as included in "issuance and sale".

Also in subsection (b) of this section, the
former reference to "confirmed" is deleted as
included in "ratifies".

Former Article 43, § 671(b), which provided that
the provisions of the former subtitle of Article
43 entitled "Sanitary Districts" were
supplemental, is deleted as unnecessary.

Former Article 43, § 671(c), which repealed laws
inconsistent with the former subtitle of Article
43 entitled "Sanitary Districts", is deleted as
obsolete.

The General Assembly may wish to consider
amending the references in this section to "June
1, 1961" to read "the enactment of this
subtitle". However, the Commission to Revise the
Annotated Code notes to do so could ratify an
otherwise invalid act that occurred between June
1, 1961 and July 1, 1982.

9-606. RIGHT OF ENTRY.

(A)  ENTRY FOR PURPOSE OF INSPECTION.

AT ANY REASONABLE TIME, A REPRESENTATIVE OF A SANITARY
COMMISSION MAY ENTER ANY PUBLIC OR PRIVATE BUILDING OR PLACE
UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE DISTRICT TO INSPECT ANY
PERTINENT EQUIPMENT OR PART OF THE BUILDING OR PLACE.

(B)  CONDITIONS OF ENTRY.

ON ENTERING ANY BUILDING OR PLACE UNDER THIS SECTION,
THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE SANITARY COMMISSION SHALL PRESENT
TO THE OWNER, OPERATOR, OR AGENT IN CHARGE APPROPRIATE
CREDENTIALS FROM THE SANITARY COMMISSION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 667, except the last clause of that
section.
