HEARING;

(II) THE GENERAL SUBJECT OF THE RULES AND
REGULATIONS THAT ARE TO BE CONSIDERED AT THE HEARING; AND

(III) IF APPROPRIATE, THE SPECIFIC WATERS

FOR WHICH STANDARDS ARE SOUGHT TO BE ADOPTED, AMENDED, OR

REPEALED.

(D) PROCEDURES.

AT THE PUBLIC HEARING, ANY INTERESTED PERSON MAY SUBMIT
INFORMATION OR VIEWS, ORALLY OR IN WRITING.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the second
sentence of former NR § 8-1405(c)(1).

Subsection (a) of this section is new language
added for clarity. See, e.g., Article 41, § 245
of the Code, which imposes requirements that
apply in "addition to other rule-making
requirements imposed by law".

Subsection (c)(2)(i) of this section is new
language added for clarity and for conformity to
other, similar sections of this article. See,
e.g., § 2-303 of this article.

In subsection (c)(2)(iii) of this section, the
former reference to "criteria" is deleted as
included in "standards".

9-317. ANNUAL REPORT.

(A) SUBMISSION.

NO LATER THAN JUNE 1 OF EACH YEAR, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL
SUBMIT TO THE GOVERNOR AND THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY A REPORT
THAT SUMMARIZES THE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM FOR THIS
STATE.

(B) REQUIRED CONTENTS.
THE REPORT SHALL INCLUDE:

(1) THE STATUS OF COMPREHENSIVE COUNTY WATER
SUPPLY AND SEWERAGE PLANS THAT ARE DEVELOPED UNDER SUBTITLE
5 OF THIS TITLE;

(2) THE STATUS OF IMPLEMENTATION PROGRAMS TO
ACHIEVE WATER QUALITY STANDARDS FOR THIS STATE, INCLUDING
ANY OUTSTANDING VIOLATION AND THE STATUS OF ITS CORRECTION;

(3) THE STATUS OF INTERSTATE COMPACTS AND
