LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 240

(1) COUNTIES, MUNICIPALITIES, DISTRICTS, AND
PERSONS WHO SUPPLY WATER, ICE, SEWERAGE, OR REFUSE DISPOSAL
SERVICE TO THE PUBLIC;

(2)  PERSONS WHO OWN MANUFACTURING OR INDUSTRIAL
ESTABLISHMENTS; AND

(3) OWNERS OF PRIVATE SYSTEMS OF WATER SUPPLY OR
SEWERAGE.

(B)  RECORDS TO BE AVAILABLE TO SECRETARY.

THE RECORDS REQUIRED TO BE KEPT UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF
THIS SECTION SHALL BE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE SECRETARY ON
REQUEST.

(C)  RIGHT OF ENTRY.

AGENTS OF THE SECRETARY SHALL BE ALLOWED ENTRY TO ANY
BUILDINGS, STRUCTURES, OR PREMISES OWNED BY COUNTIES,
MUNICIPALITIES, DISTRICTS, OR PERSONS WHO SUPPLY THE PUBLIC
WITH WATER, ICE, SEWERAGE, OR REFUSE DISPOSAL SERVICE, OR ON
ANY PRIVATE PROPERTIES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF COLLECTING
SAMPLES, RECORDS, OR INFORMATION OR ASCERTAINING WHETHER THE
RULES, REGULATIONS, OR ORDERS OF THE SECRETARY ARE OBEYED.

9-223. REVOCATION, CHANGE, AND EXPIRATION OF PERMITS.

(A)  REVOCATION; CHANGE.

EVERY PERMIT ISSUED BY THE SECRETARY UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE IS REVOCABLE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE BY THE SECRETARY
AFTER DUE NOTICE OF THE CONTEMPLATED ACTION IS GIVEN BY THE
SECRETARY TO THE HOLDER OF THE PERMIT.

(B)  EXPIRATION.

IF THE LENGTH OF TIME THAT A PERMIT ISSUED UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE IS TO RUN IS SPECIFIED IN THE PERMIT, THE PERMIT
EXPIRES AT THE END OF THAT PERIOD OF TIME.
