(B) EACH DAY SEPARATE OFFENSE.

FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION
CONTINUES CONSTITUTES A SEPARATE OFFENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, §§ 272(c) and the second half of the first
sentence of 193(i).

4-1205. $300 FINE; GREATER PENALTY FOR SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE;
EACH DAY SEPARATE OFFENSE.

(A)  VIOLATION OF § 4-819 OR § 4-624(B).

A PERSON WHO VIOLATES § 4-624(B) OR § 4-819 OF THIS
TITLE IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS
SUBJECT TO:

(1)  FOR A FIRST OFFENSE, A FINE NOT EXCEEDING
$300; OR

(2)  FOR A SUBSEQUENT OFFENSE, A FINE NOT
EXCEEDING $500.

(B)  EACH DAY SEPARATE OFFENSE.

FOR PURPOSES OF THIS SECTION, EACH DAY THAT A VIOLATION
CONTINUES CONSTITUTES A SEPARATE OFFENSE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the first
sentence and the first clause of the second
sentence of former Article 43,. § 193(h) and the
second sentence of § 208.

In this section and elsewhere throughout this
subtitle, the former minimum penalties are
deleted to conform to the statement of
legislative policy contained in Article 27, § 643
of the Code, which sets forth the general rule
that, notwithstanding a prescribed minimum
penalty, the court nevertheless may impose a
lesser penalty of the same character.

4-1206. $500 FINE.

A PERSON WHO VIOLATES ANY PROVISION OF THE FOLLOWING
PARTS OR SECTIONS OF THIS TITLE IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR
AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $500:
