(C)  APPLICATIONS FOR RENEWAL.

BEFORE A LICENSE EXPIRES, THE LICENSEE
PERIODICALLY MAY RENEW IT FOR AN ADDITIONAL 1-YEAR TERM, IF
THE LICENSEE:

(1)  OTHERWISE IS ENTITLED TO A LICENSE;

(2)  PAYS TO THE SECRETARY A RENEWAL FEE OF $10;
AND

(3)  SUBMITS TO THE SECRETARY:

(I)  A RENEWAL APPLICATION ON THE FORM THAT
THE SECRETARY REQUIRES; AND

(II)  SATISFACTORY EVIDENCE OF COMPLIANCE
WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION FOR RENEWAL.

(D)  ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE SECRETARY SHALL RENEW THE LICENSE OF EACH LICENSEE
WHO MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS SECTION.

(E)  NONTRANSFERABILITY.

A LICENSE IS NOT TRANSFERABLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
the second clause of the second sentence of
former Article 43, § 193(d).

Subsections (b) through (d) of this section are
new language added to conform to the practice of
the Department.

Subsection (e) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from the first
clause of the second sentence of former Article
43, § 193(d).

4-813. NOTICE OF VIOLATIONS; SUSPENSIONS AND REVOCATIONS.

(A) NOTICE OF VIOLATIONS.

IF THE SECRETARY FINDS THAT A LICENSEE HAS VIOLATED ANY
OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBTITLE OR THAT A VIOLATION HAS
OCCURRED ON ANY PREMISES FOR WHICH A LICENSE HAS BEEN
ISSUED, THE SECRETARY IMMEDIATELY SHALL GIVE WRITTEN NOTICE
TO THE LICENSEE. THE NOTICE SHALL SET FORTH THE NATURE OF
THE VIOLATION AND DIRECT THAT IT BE STOPPED.

(B) SUSPENSIONS AND REVOCATIONS.
