the Secretary to renew the license of a qualified
licensee, is new language added to express the
formerly only implied duty of the Secretary to
renew the license of a currently qualified
licensee.

4-513. NOTICE.

IF THE SECRETARY FINDS THAT A COLD STORAGE WAREHOUSE IS
IN AN UNSANITARY CONDITION OR NOT EQUIPPED PROPERLY, THE
SECRETARY SHALL NOTIFY THE LICENSEE:

(1)  OF THE SPECIFIC FINDINGS;

(2)  OF A SPECIFIC DATE BY WHICH THE LICENSEE
SHALL CORRECT THE DEFICIENCIES SPECIFIED IN THE NOTICE; AND

(3)  THAT, IF THE LICENSEE FAILS TO CORRECT THE
CONDITIONS BY THE DATE SPECIFIED, THE LICENSE WILL BE
REVOKED.

without substantive change from former Article
43, § 232.

4-514. REVOCATION OF LICENSE.

IF THE NOTICE REQUIRED BY § 4-513 OF THIS SUBTITLE IS
GIVEN AND IF THE LICENSEE FAILS TO MAKE THE NECESSARY
CORRECTIONS WITHIN THE TIME SPECIFIED IN THE NOTICE, THE
SECRETARY SHALL REVOKE THE LICENSE.

4-517. RECORDKEEPING BY LICENSEES.

(A) IN GENERAL.

EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION, A
LICENSEE SHALL:

(1) KEEP RECORDS OF ALL FOOD:

(I)  RECEIVED BY THE LICENSEE FOR COLD
STORAGE; AND

(II)  WITHDRAWN FROM THE LICENSEE'S COLD
