TANK:

(1) TO RECEIVE RAW MILK FROM A MILK PRODUCER;

(2)  TO TRANSPORT RAW MILK THAT HAS BEEN RECEIVED
FROM A MILK PRODUCER; AND

(3)  TO DELIVER RAW MILK THAT HAS BEEN RECEIVED
FROM A MILK PRODUCER.

(G) RECEIVING STATION PERMIT.

WHILE IT IS EFFECTIVE, A RECEIVING STATION PERMIT
AUTHORIZES THE HOLDER:

(1)  TO COLLECT RAW MILK;

(2)  TO COOL RAW MILK;

(3)  TO PROCESS RAW MILK;

(4)  TO STORE RAW MILK; AND

(5)  TO PREPARE RAW MILK FOR DELIVERY TO A MILK
PLANT.

(H) TRANSFER STATION PERMIT.

WHILE IT IS EFFECTIVE, A TRANSFER STATION PERMIT
AUTHORIZES THE HOLDER TO OPERATE A PLACE WHERE RAW MILK IS
TRANSFERRED BETWEEN MILK TRUCK TANKS FOR EVENTUAL DELIVERY
TO A MILK PLANT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Article
43, § 570(a), (c), (d), (e), (h), (1), (o), the
second sentence of (w), and, as it described a
milk plant, (b).

In subsection (a) of this section, "distributor"
is new language added because, in practice, a
bobtailer may purchase pasteurized milk from a
distributor or a milk processor.

Subsection (b) of this section is new language
added for clarity. As to inspections of dairy
farms by certified industry dairy farm
inspectors, see § 4-414 of this subtitle.

In subsection (c) of this section, "whether from
a fixed location or from a vehicle" is
substituted for "place, premise, establishment,
or vehicle" for clarity and to emphasize the
difference between a bobtailer permit and a
