SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 8 - Cecil County

9-6.

Before May 1st in each year, the board of estimates
shall prepare a proposed budget, containing- the following
items:

(d) A list of all other anticipated expenses,
including a proper allowance for a contingent fund, not
exceeding [$75,000.00] 1 PERCENT OF THE COUNTY BUDGET per
year.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Cecil County - Housing Code

FOR the purpose of providing that in Cecil County, the
adoption of minimum housing standards is discretionary;
and removing the provision that the housing code shall
be administered by the Cecil County Health Department.
