concerning the salary of the State's Attorney  of Queen

Anne's County shall take effect at the beginning of  the next
following term of office.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

(House Bill 995)

AN ACT concerning

Somerset County - County Commissioners

FOR the purpose of providing that the County Commissioners
of Somerset County may receive reimbursement for food
and mileage expenses for any official duties in the
county; and providing that a reimbursement voucher for
each excursion shall be signed by a certain number of
commissioners and authorized by the County Treasurer.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 7

Article 20 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1977 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland read(s) as follows:

Article 20 - Somerset County

7.

There are five County Commissioners for Somerset
County, who hold office for four years, and until their
successors are elected and qualified. Each [of the
commissioners] COMMISSIONER shall receive an annual salary
of $2,750. [Also, there shall be an expense account for
each commissioner which shall cover all traveling expenses
of each member from his home to the County Courthouse and
return and necessary food expenses. They] SUBJECT TO
APPROVAL BY THE COUNTY TREASURER, EACH COMMISSIONER MAY
RECEIVE REIMBURSEMENT OF NO MORE THAN $1,500 A YEAR FOR FOOD
AND MILEAGE EXPENSES FOR ANY OFFICIAL DUTIES IN SOMERSET
