(3) (1) REPORT TO THE COMMISSIONER AND THE
GOVERNOR ABOUT THE CONCERNS OF THE CITIZENS RESIDING IN THE
VICINITY OF EACH INSTITUTION IN THE REGION;

(4) (2) BE AVAILABLE TO INTERPRET EACH
INSTITUTION'S PROGRAMS AND PROBLEMS TO THE CITIZENS RESIDING
IN THE VICINITY OF EACH INSTITUTION IN THE REGION; AND

(5)(3) PERFORM OTHER SERVICES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES DESIGNATED BY THE COMMISSIONER AS MAY BE
DEEMED NECESSARY.

(B) THE DEPARTMENT SHALL PROVIDE STAFF TO THE
COMMITTEE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That of the
members of each Citizens' Advisory Committee established
under this Act, 3 shall be appointed for 3 year terms, 2
shall be appointed for 2 year terms, and 2 shall be
appointed for 1 year terms. Thereafter, each member of a
Committee shall be appointed to 3 year terms as provided by
this Act.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
