(5) The State's Attorney may not engage in the
private practice of law at any time in any jurisdiction
during his tenure of office.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Montgomery County - Amendment of the Rezoning Transfer Tax

MC 238-82

FOR the purpose of providing that Montgomery County may levy
and impose a tax on the transfer of real property which
is rezoned to a more intensive use at the instance of
any person having a financial, contractual, or
proprietary interest in the property, including, the
transferor and transferee of the property; and making
technical corrections.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

empowered and authorized to levy and impose by resolution or
ordinance a tax to be paid and collected on the transfer in
