SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
read(s) as follows:
Article - Natural Resources
10-405.
(a) Pursuant to § 10-205, the Department shall
establish by rule or regulation and publish by July 1 each
year the open season, excepting Sundays, to hunt the forest
and upland game birds and mammals [except for crows].
(c) [Notwithstanding subsections (a) and (b), the open
season to hunt crows shall be January 1 through December 31
each year.] THE DEPARTMENT SHALL ESTABLISH BY REGULATION
THE MAXIMUM OPEN SEASON FOR HUNTING CROWS WHICH IS
PERMISSIBLE UNDER FEDERAL LAW, AND SHALL INCLUDE IN ITS
REGULATIONS SUCH PROVISIONS AS ARE PERMITTED UNDER FEDERAL
LAW FOR CONTROL OF CROWS AT ANY TIME THEY ARE FOUND TO BE
COMMITTING OR ABOUT TO COMMIT DEPREDATION UPON ORNAMENTAL OR
SHADE TREES, AGRICULTURAL CROPS, LIVESTOCK OR WILDLIFE, OR
WHEN CONCENTRATED IN SUCH NUMBERS AND MANNER AS . TO
CONSTITUTE A HEALTH HAZARD OR OTHER NUISANCE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning
Teacher Certification - Annual Fee
FOR the purpose of providing that the State Board of
Education may establish a certain annual fee for
issuance or renewal of teacher certificates; and
providing that the State Board of Education may not
require a fee for certain additions to certificates or
for evaluation of credentials for teacher
certification.
