Where any person is convicted after July 1, 1968 1982,
of any crime by any judge with criminal jurisdiction, there
shall be imposed as additional cost, in the case, in
addition to any other costs required to be imposed by law,
the sum of [$10] $15. All such sums shall be paid over to
the Comptroller of the State to be deposited in the general
funds of the State. Under no condition shall a political
subdivision be held liable for the payment of this sum of
[$10] $15. "Crime" as used in this section does not include
violations of the Maryland Vehicle Law, violations of the
Agriculture or Natural Resources articles of this Code, or
violations of State or local building, health, and
sanitation codes.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.
