SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET NO. 2 - FISCAL YEAR 1983

March 31, 1982

Mr. President, Mr. Speaker, Ladies and Gentlemen

of the General Assembly:

Pursuant to the authority conferred on me by Article
III, Section 52, Sub-section (5) of the Constitution of
Maryland, and in accordance with the consent of the (State
Senate) - (House of Delegates), duly granted, I hereby
submit a further supplement to Senate Bill 380 and/or House
Bill 620 in the form of an amendment to the original budget
for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1983.

Amendment No. 1.

On page 3 of the printed bill strike beginning with
"legislation" in line 137 down through "adjustment" in the
second unnumbered line following line 138 and substitute
"Senate Bill 761 or House Bill 1176".

Amendment No. 2.

On page 13 of the printed bill after "Association" in
the first unnumbered line after line 783 insert "and
volunteer fire companies and rescue squads".

Amendment No. 3.

On page 14 of the printed bill strike beginning with
"is" in line 794 down through "companies" in the second
unnumbered line following line 799 and substitute "and
volunteer fire companies and rescue squads is contingent
upon the enactment of Senate Bill 637 or House Bill 1175".

Amendment No. 4.

On page 117 of the printed bill in the first unnumbered
line after line 7706 strike "establishing a demonstration
program of victim restitution" and substitute "the enactment
of Senate Bill 449 or House Bill 714".

Amendment No. 5.

On page 125 of the printed bill strike beginning with
"legislation" in the second unnumbered line following 8162,
down through "1983" in the unnumbered line following line
8165 and substitute "Senate Bill 640 or House Bill 1177".

Amendment No. 6.

On page 126 of the printed bill strike beginning with
"legislation" in the second unnumbered line following line
8243 down through "libraries" In the second unnumbered line
