13-705.1.

IF A PERSON DRIVES A MOTOR VEHICLE WHILE THE DRIVER'S
LICENSE OF THE PERSON IS SUSPENDED OR REVOKED UNDER §§
16-205 OR 16-205.1 OF THIS ARTICLE, THE ADMINISTRATION MAY
SUSPEND, FOR NOT MORE THAN 120 DAYS, THE REGISTRATION OF ANY
MOTOR VEHICLE OWNED BY THE PERSON.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1982.

AN ACT concerning

Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol

FOR the purpose of providing that wherever "driving while
ability impaired by consumption of alcohol" appears in
the Maryland Code, "driving while under the influence
of alcohol" shall be substituted and have the same
meaning and effect as "driving while ability impaired
or not impaired by alcohol."

FOR the purpose of substituting "driving while under the
influence" for "driving while ability impaired" in
certain sections of the Code.
