minimum health services, the
Secretary of Health and
Mental Hygiene is
authorized, subject to
availability of funds under
this appropriation, to match
such additional
expenditures, provided that
the aggregate of State and
Federal funds paid for such
additional expenditures
shall not exceed 20% of such
additional expenditures.
The Secretary of Health and
Mental Hygiene is authorized
to promulgate rules and
regulations for the
implementation and
application of the formula
outlined herein. Of the
amount hereby appropriated,
funds for Home Health
Services, Master Plan for
Water and Sewage, Air
Quality, Rodent Eradication,
and Geriatric Screening and
Evaluation shall be
apportioned among the
several political
subdivisions in the same
manner as heretofore
provided with respect to the
minimum budget for other
general local health
services.
Authorization is hereby
granted to recalculate, if
necessary, the formula for
general local health
services as herein described
consistent with the State
Salary Plan which becomes
effective July 1, 1981.
The appropriation provided for
Local Health Services is to
be used only for the purpose
herein appropriated and
there shall be no budgetary
transfer by budget amendment
or otherwise from this
program to any other program
or purpose. All
unencumbered funds retaining
at the close of June 30,
1982 shall be reverted to
the general fund treasury of
the State.
