DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL HYGIENE

OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY

The funds provided for

maintenance projects at

State institutions

appropriated in the Office

of the Secretary shall be

expended only for the

specified projects and there
shall be no budgetary

transfer by budget amendment
or otherwise except to the
institutions so designated
and for use only for the
projects so requested.

Any federal funds attained by

any administration, board,

commission or institution of

the State Department of

Health and Mental Hygiene,

not designated for some

specific purpose by

Congress, the laws of this
State, or by regulation and
in excess of the amounts
anticipated in the several
federal fund appropriations
for the Department of Health
and Mental Hygiene, shall
either be transferred to
program 32.01.05.03 Medical

Assistance Provider

Reimbursements Program, or
if not needed shall be
disposed of for other

purposes as provided in
Article 15A, Section 7 or as
set forth in the State's
policy for indirect costs.
