Before entering upon the duties of his office, the
[Administrative Assistant] COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR shall give
bond to the State of Maryland in the penal sum of $5,000,
contingent upon the faithful performance of all duties of
his office and honest accounting for all money that may come
into his hands in his official capacity. This expense shall
be borne by the county and shall be recorded in the Office
of the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Queen Anne's County.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Queen Anne's County - Department of Public Works -

Duties

FOR the purpose of removing the administration and
regulation of dogs and the dog warden from the duties
of the Department of Public Works of Queen Anne's
County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

The Public Local Laws of Queen Anne's County
Section 17-2

Article 18 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1974 Edition, as amended)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as
follows:

Article 18 - Queen Anne's County

17-2.

The Department of Public Works shall:

(1)  Construct and maintain county water mains,
sewers, drains and culverts;

(2)  Construct, maintain and operate county
sewage disposal and treatment plants;
