(A)  NEW LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
MAY NOT BE ISSUED IN THE 11TH THROUGH 21ST PRECINCTS OF THE
25TH WARD OF BALTIMORE CITY. THIS AREA INCLUDES THE
FOLLOWING COMMUNITIES:

BROOKLYN

CHERRY HILL

CURTIS BAY

FAIRFIELD

HAWKIN'S POINT

WAGNER'S POINT

(B)  LICENSES FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OF
ANY CLASS MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED INTO THE AREA OF BALTIMORE
CITY COVERED BY THIS SECTION.

(C)  THE PROHIBITIONS IN THIS SECTION DO NOT APPLY TO
SPECIAL 1-DAY LICENSES OR TO CLASS B BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR
RESTAURANT LICENSES TO BONA FIDE RESTAURANTS WHEREIN THE
MINIMUM CAPITAL INVESTMENT IS $150,000 FOR RESTAURANT
FACILITIES, WHICH DOES NOT INCLUDE THE COST OF LAND AND
BUILDING AND HAS A MINIMUM SEATING CAPACITY OF 75 PERSONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Open-Pit Mining or Strip Mining Reclamation -
Financial Security

FOR the purpose of permitting an operator of an open-pit
mine or strip mine to file an A CERTAIN irrevocable
letter of credit issued by a bank in this State in a
certain amount to assure that the laws relating to
open-pit mining reclamation are carried out;
prohibiting this letter of credit from expiring before
