LAWS OF MARYLAND

Ch. 11

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(as enacted by Chapters 210 and 830 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1980) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

10.

(1) This section shall not apply to Baltimore City,
nor to Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Charles, Garrett, Harford,
Kent, AND St. Mary's [and Somerset] counties, in all of
which jurisdictions such licenses shall not be issued.

13.

(g-1) (1) In Wicomico [and Somerset counties] COUNTY
there is a six day, and a seven day, Class A (off-sale) beer
and light wine license.

(2)  In Wicomico County the annual license fee
for a six day license is $250.

[(2a) In Somerset County the annual license fee
for a six day license is $150.]

(3)  The license fee for a seven day license in
Wicomico County is $300.

[(3a) The license fee for a seven day license in
Somerset County is $175.]

(4)  In Wicomico [and Somerset counties] COUNTY,
"light wine" means any fermented beverages not in excess of
22 percent of alcohol by volume.

(5)  In Wicomico [and Somerset counties] COUNTY,
a person may not hold a license under the provisions of this
section upon any premises having any direct or indirect
connection with any drug or pharmaceutical, or other
business establishments of a type commonly known as or
referred to as drugstore.

15.

(k) This section shall not apply to Calvert, Caroline,
Charles, Dorchester, Garrett, Kent, Queen Anne's, St.
Mary's, [Somerset] and Talbot counties, in all of which
jurisdictions such licenses shall not be issued.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, amended, or
enacted to read as follows:
