SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary for
the immediate preservation of the public health and safety
and having been passed by a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to each of the two
Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

AN ACT concerning

Wicomico and Somerset Counties - Alcoholic Beverages -

License Fees

FOR the purpose of correcting certain provisions of law
concerning license fees for 6 and 7 day Class A
(off-sale) beer and light wine licenses in Wicomico and
Somerset counties; correcting existing law to provide
for the issuance of Class B certain beer and Class C
certain beer and light wine licenses in Somerset
County; repealing a certain duplicative provision;
generally relating to alcoholic beverages in Somerset
County; and making this Act an emergency measure.
