(B) ELECTIONS.

THE MANNER OF ELECTION OF OFFICERS SHALL BE AS THE
BOARD DETERMINES.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is new
language derived without substantive change from
Art. 43, § 801(f).

Subsection (b) of this section is standard
language added to clarify the manner of election
for officers of the Board.

In subsection (a) of this section, the phrase
"{f}rom among its members" is added for
clarity, in accordance with the current practice
of the Board.

19-204. QUORUM; MEETINGS; COMPENSATION; STAFF.

(A)  QUORUM.

A MAJORITY OF THE FULL AUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP OF THE
BOARD IS A QUORUM TO DO BUSINESS.

(B)  MEETINGS.

THE BOARD SHALL MEET AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR, AT THE TIMES
AND PLACES THAT IT DETERMINES.

(C)  COMPENSATION AND REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES.

A IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STATE BUDGET, EACH MEMBER OF
THE BOARD IS ENTITLED TO:

(1)  MAY NOT RECEIVE COMPENSATION, BUT

COMPENSATION, AT A RATE DETERMINED BY THE BOARD, FOR EACH
DAY ON WHICH THE MEMBER IS ENGAGED IN THE DUTIES OF THE
MEMBER'S OFFICE; AND

(2)  IS ENTITLED TO REIMBURSEMENT REIMBURSEMENT
FOR EXPENSES UNDER THE STANDARD STATE TRAVEL REGULATIONS, AS
PROVIDED IN THE STATE BUDGET. REGULATIONS.

(D)  STAFF.

THE BOARD MAY EMPLOY A STAFF IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STATE BUDGET.

without substantive change from Art. 43, §§
801(d), (e), and (g), 804(5), and 805(d).

In subsection (a) of this section, the present
provision calling for a quorum of "four members"
is restated, without substantive change, in more
