(1)  THE BOARD MAY ESTABLISH CONTINUING EDUCATION
REQUIREMENTS AS A CONDITION TO THE RENEWAL OF CERTIFICATIONS
UNDER THIS SECTION.

(2)  THE REQUIREMENTS ESTABLISHED UNDER THIS
SUBSECTION SHALL BE:

(I)  SET BY THE BOARD AS TO THE AMOUNT AND
TYPE OF STUDY REQUIRED; AND

(II)  STANDARD FOR ALL CERTIFIED

PSYCHOLOGISTS.

(E) ISSUANCE OF RENEWAL.

THE BOARD SHALL RENEW THE CERTIFICATION OF EACH
CERTIFIED PSYCHOLOGIST WHO MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THIS

SECTION.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 43, §
634(b) and the first three sentences and the
first clause of the fourth sentence of (c) and
from Art. 43, § 634(d).

Subsection (b)(2) of this section is new language
added for clarity and to conform to current Board
practice and to similar provisions governing
other health occupations in present Art. 43.

Subsection (c)(1) of this section is new language
added for clarity.

Subsection (c)(3)(i) of this section is new
language added to clarify the authority of the
Board to require that applications be made on the
form the Board requires.

Also in subsection (c) of this section, the
present reference to renewal being made during
February or March is deleted as unnecessary.

16-310. INACTIVE STATUS; REINSTATEMENT OF EXPIRED
CERTIFICATION.

(A) INACTIVE STATUS.

(1) THE BOARD SHALL PLACE A CERTIFIED
PSYCHOLOGIST ON INACTIVE STATUS, IF THE PSYCHOLOGIST SUBMITS
TO THE BOARD:

(I)  AN APPLICATION FOR INACTIVE STATUS ON
THE FORM REQUIRED BY THE BOARD; AND

(II)  AN THE INACTIVE STATUS FEE OF $10 SET
BY THE BOARD.
