applicant must pass that examination before being
licensed. As to the power of the Board to give
examinations, see § 13-306 of this subtitle.

Subsection (d) of this section, which is derived
from the power of the Board over license
qualifications in present Art. 43, § 608, is
revised in language similar to that used for
corresponding provisions in other titles of this
article.

As to the power of the Board to adopt rules and
regulations to carry out the provisions of this
subtitle, see § 13-206(a)(l) of this title and
its revisor's note.

13-303. SAME -- PHYSICAL THERAPISTS.

(A)  EDUCATED IN ANY STATE.

IF AN APPLICANT FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPY LICENSE HAS BEEN
EDUCATED IN PHYSICAL THERAPY IN ANY STATE, THE APPLICANT
SHALL HAVE:

(1)  GRADUATED FROM A PHYSICAL THERAPY CURRICULUM
THAT, IN THE YEAR OF GRADUATION, WAS APPROVED BY:

(I) THE COUNCIL ON MEDICAL EDUCATION OF

THE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION; OR

(II) THE AMERICAN PHYSICAL THERAPY
ASSOCIATION; AND

(2)  COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY THE CLINICAL
TRAINING REQUIRED BY THE PHYSICAL THERAPY CURRICULUM.

(B)  EDUCATED OUTSIDE OF ANY STATE.

IF AN APPLICANT FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPY LICENSE HAS BEEN
EDUCATED IN PHYSICAL THERAPY OUTSIDE OF ANY STATE, THE
APPLICANT SHALL HAVE:

(1)  GRADUATED FROM A PHYSICAL THERAPY CURRICULUM
THAT HAS EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS COMPARABLE TO THOSE
APPROVED BY:

(I)  THE COUNCIL ON MEDICAL EDUCATION OF
SHE AMERICAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION; OR

(II)  THE AMERICAN PHYSICAL THERAPY
ASSOCIATION; AND

(2)  COMPLETED IN ANY STATE A PRECEPTORSHIP THAT
FULFILLS THE REQUIREMENTS SET BY THE BOARD.
