the enumerated list of rulemaking items in
present Art. 43, § 608, for brevity and clarity.
In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the
language "standards of practice and a code of
ethics" is substituted for "ethical standards"
to conform to actual practice and to better
coordinate this section and § 13-315 of this
title.
In subsection (a)(3) of this section, the phrase
"in accordance with the State budget" is
substituted for the reference to the Board paying
expenses out of Board funds in light of the
current State funding mechanism.
Subsection (b)(1) of this section, which is
derived from the reference in present Art. 43, §
612 to sending a list of each licensed physical
therapist and each licensed physical therapist
assistant to the Secretary, is revised to clarify
the duty of the Board to keep a list of
licensees. This revision reflects the current
practice of the Board. The present reference to
sending a list to the Secretary is deleted as
obsolete.
In subsection (b)(2) of this section, the present
reference to Baltimore City is deleted as
unnecessary in light of the definition of
"county" in § 1-101 of this article.

(A) ESTABLISHMENT OF FEES.
THE BOARD MAY SET REASONABLE FEES FOR THE ISSUANCE AND
RENEWAL OF LICENSES AND ITS OTHER SERVICES.
(B) DISPOSITION OF FUNDS.
THE BOARD SHALL PAY ALL FUNDS COLLECTED UNDER THIS
TITLE INTO THE GENERAL FUND OF THIS STATE.

Subsection (a) of this section is revised to
clarify the authority of the Board — under its
broad rulemaking powers — to set reasonable fees
for the services for which a fee is not set in
