HARRY HUGHES, Governor

525

As to subsection (d)(2) of this section, the
first clause of present Art. 43, § 606(f), which
refers to the power of the Board to obtain
information on physical therapy, is deleted as an
unnecessary specification of an inherent power of
the Board.

Also as to subsection (d)(2) of this section, the
reference in present Art. 43, § 606(f) to experts
and consultants being "paid out of the funds of
the Board" is deleted as inaccurate and obsolete.
Currently, all funds collected by the health
occupation boards that are regulated under this
article are part of the General Fund of this
State. Therefore, the Board does not have any
"funds" of its own.
