AN APPLICANT WHO OTHERWISE QUALIFIES FOR A LICENSE IS
ENTITLED TO BE EXAMINED AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION.

(B)  TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL GIVE EXAMINATIONS TO APPLICANTS AT
LEAST TWICE A YEAR, AT THE TIMES AND PLACES THAT THE BOARD
DETERMINES.

(C)  NOTICE OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL NOTIFY EACH QUALIFIED APPLICANT OF THE
TIME AND PLACE OF EXAMINATION.

(D)  SUBJECTS AND METHOD OF EXAMINATION.

THE BOARD SHALL DETERMINE THE SUBJECTS, SCOPE, FORM,
AND PASSING SCORE FOR EXAMINATIONS GIVEN UNDER THIS
SUBTITLE.

(E)  PARTICIPATION BY CONSUMER MEMBERS OF THE BOARD.

UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY THE BOARD, THE CONSUMER MEMBERS OF
THE BOARD MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANY ACTIVITY RELATED TO
EXAMINATIONS UNDER THIS SUBTITLE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: Subsection (a) of this section is
standard language added to this and, where
necessary, corresponding sections of other titles
of this article, as discussed in the General
Revisor's Note to this article.

Subsections (b) and (c) of this section are new
language derived without substantive change from
Art. 43, § 258(b).

Subsection (d) of this section is standard
language added to this and, where necessary,
corresponding sections of other titles of this
article to state expressly provisions that
presently are only implied in the law; i.e., that
the Board has control over the content,
administration, and scoring of the required
examinations.

Subsection (e) of this section is new language
derived without substantive change from Art. 43,
§ 257(e)(2)(v).

In subsection (b) of this section, the specific
provision of present Art. 43, § 258(b) that
requires that examinations be held "on the first
Thursday in April and October in each year, in
the City of Baltimore" is deleted as meaningless
in light of the alternative authority provided in
that section to hold the examinations "at the
times and places fixed by the Board". As
