HARRY HUGHES, Governor

431

Subsection (b) of this section is new language
derived in part from the last clause of Art. 43,
§ 478.

The General Assembly may wish to consider that
while present Art. 43, § 478 states that a public
official may not accept a birth or death
certificate from a licensee under this title, the
effect of this provision is that a licensee under
this title may not prepare or file a birth or
death certificate.

The first clause of present Art. 43, § 478, which
refers to a doctor of osteopathy being subject to
contagious disease regulations, is deleted as
misleading and as repetitive of other independent
provisions of law.
