Chapter 26

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 23A, title "Group
Residential Care Facilities" of the Montgomery County Code
1972, as amended, by repealing and reenacting with
amendments Section 23A-4, title "Definitions", Section
23A-5, title "Administration and enforcement" of Article I,
title "General provisions", to provide for the transfer of
certain functions from the Department of Environmental
Protection to the Department of Health.

Effective Date December 28, 1979.

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 25, title "Hospitals,
Sanitariums, Etc." of the Montgomery County Code 1972, as
amended, by repealing and reenacting with amendments Section
25-1, title "Definitions", Section 25-2, title
"Administration and enforcement of chapter", Section 25-3,
title "Right of entry of county officials" of Article I,
title "In General"; Section 25-28, title "Approval of water
supply, plumbing, etc. systems", Subsections (3) and (4) of
Subsection (A), title "Personnel" of Section 25-46, title
"Food Service" of Article III, title "Health Standards and
Regulations", to transfer certain functions from the
Department of Environmental Protection to the Department of
Health.

Effective Date December 28, 1979.

Chapter 28

AN EMERGENCY ACT to amend Chapter 25A, title "Housing,
Moderately Priced" of the Montgomery County Code, 1972, as
amended by repealing and reenacting with amendments Section
25A-6, title "Sale or rental to general public; purchase or
lease by the Housing Opportunities Commission", and Section
25A-8, title "Executive regulations; enforcement of
chapter", to change references to the County Department of
Community and Economic Development to the Department of
Housing Community Development.

Effective Date December 28, 1979.
