AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Section
16.206 of the Howard County Code, Title 16, "Planning,
Zoning and Subdivision and Land Development Regulations",
Subtitle 2, "Zoning," for the purpose of deleting certain
obsolete language concerning hearing procedures of the
Howard County Zoning Board.

AN ACT to add new Subtitle 8, "Street Lights," to Title
18, "Public Works," of the Howard County Code to provide
procedures for the establishment of street light districts
and to provide procedures for the acceptance by gift of
existing street lights; to add new Subtitle 7, "Street Light
Assessment and Charges," to Title 20, "Taxation and Public
Credit," of the Howard County Code, to provide for the
assessment and charges in order to finance the material,
installation and operating costs of new street lights and to
provide a method of computation of the assessments and
charges and to provide for the levying of the assessment and
charges on real estate within the street light districts.

Bill No. 105

AN ACT amending Sections 2.201, 2.211(d), 2.214(a),
2.220, 16.205, 16.206, 16.208 and 16.305 of the Howard
County Code in order to remove obsolete language referring
to the Chief of the Division of Zoning and the Zoning
Enforcement Officer.

Bill No. 110

AN ACT amending Section 1.210 "Standards for
Positions," Section 1.211 "Incorporation of Class
Specifications" and Section 1.212 "Pay Plan for Hourly and
Salaried Employees" of Title I "Administration" of the
Howard County Code in order to add the classification of
Police Records Clerk and to provide a pay grade and salary
range for that classification; and to combine Zoning
Inspector I and Zoning Inspector II into a duly an allocated
class.
