verified that the persons signing the petition represent the
property owners of the land in the area to be annexed, all
as of October 15, 1979, as will more particularly appear by
the certification of Louise H. Northam, Clerk-Treasurer for
Pocomoke City, attached hereto; and

WHEREAS it appears that the Consents meet all the
requirements of law and that the area to be annexed is
contiguous to and binding upon the present southwest
corporate limits of Pocomoke City.

RESOLUTION NO. 111

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF POCOMOKE
CITY, PROPOSING THE ANNEXATION TO POCOMOKE CITY OF CERTAIN
LAND SITUATED CONTIGUOUS TO AND BINDING UPON THE SOUTHEAST
CORPORATE LIMITS OF POCOMOKE CITY AND PROVIDING FOR
CONDITIONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES APPLICABLE TO THE PROPOSED
CHANGES IN BOUNDARY OF POCOMOKE CITY.

WHEREAS, Pocomoke City has received, in accordance with
Article 23A, § 19(a) of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1957
Edition) (1973 Replacement Volume), Consents to Annexation
signed by the owners of not less than twenty-five percent
(25%) of the assessed valuation of the real property in the
area to be annexed (there being no registered voters
residing in the area to be annexed); and

WHEREAS, Pocomoke City has caused to be made a
certification of the said Consents of Annexation and has
verified that the persons signing the petition represent the
property owners of the land in the area to be annexed, all
as of September 15, 1980, as will more particularly appear
by the certification of Louise H. Northam, Clerk-Treasurer
for Pocomoke City, attached hereto; and

WHEREAS, it appears that the Consents meet all the
requirements of law and that the area to be annexed is
contiguous to and binding upon the present southeast
corporate limits of Pocomoke City.
