A PROPOSED CHARTER AMENDMENT

ENTITLED

A RESOLUTION to repeal Section 112-C (published as
Section FC4-4 in the Fruitland Charter section of the
Wicomico County Code) of the Charter of the City of
Fruitland, and to re-enact in place thereof a new Section
112-C, said new section providing that voter registration
may take place at City Hall during all business hours and
providing for a special registration three weeks in advance
of any special election.

[Section FC4-4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Wicomico County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

Effective Date November 28, 1979]

22 OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC

LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND),

TITLE "WASHINGTON COUNTY",

SUB-TITLE, "FUNKSTOWN".

Resolution of Burgess and Commissioners of Funkstown
unanimously passed on February 19, 1970 and adopted pursuant
to the authority of Article 11-E of the Constitution of
Maryland and Sections 13 and 17 of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, 1966 Replacement Volume, title
"Corporations, Municipal," sub-title, "Home Rule",
sub-heading "Charter Amendments", as said Sections were
amended by Section 1, Chapter 410 of the Laws of Maryland of
1967, to change the corporate charter of the Town of
Funkstown as defined in Section 234 of Article 22 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County, (1957
Edition), title "Washington County", sub-title, "Funkstown",
by changing the terms of office for the elected officials of
said Town.
