Resolution for the purpose of annexing certain lands in
which said Resolution the said land to be annexed was
described by metes and bounds and courses and distances, and
WHEREAS, it has since been discovered that the
description contained in said Resolution did not conform in
all respects to the Petition requesting annexation by virtue
of an error contained therein, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of The Commissioners of
Cambridge to correct said error, this Amendment to the
description contained in the aforesaid Resolution is hereby
adopted as being that which was originally intended.

Dorchester County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, a petition for annexation of land adjacent and
contiguous to the present Westerly boundaries of the City of
Cambridge has been filed by certain qualified property
owners pursuant to Section 19, Article 23A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland, and
WHEREAS, the presiding officer of The Commissioners of
Cambridge has caused to be made a verification that the area
proposed to be annexed pursuant to said petition is, in
fact, contiguous and adjacent to the existing corporate area
and that the petitioners are the owners of at least 25% of
the assessed valuation of the real property located in the
area to be annexed and who otherwise qualify under the
provisions of Section 19, Article 23A to seek annexation.
