J) STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND MENTAL

[j)] K) The remainder of the membership
should include representatives from
business and industry, labor, consumers,
consumer advocacy groups, private agencies
with disabled client populations, the news
media, fraternal and religious groups, the
medical community and others within the
community interested in the goals and
objectives of the Committee

[k)] L) At least fourteen members of the
Committee must be disabled individuals

4.  All members will be appointed by the Governor
for terms of three years with such terms
staggered so that one-third of the Committee will
be appointed each year.

5.  The Governor shall appoint the Chairman for a
three-year term.

6.  Ex-officio Members - The Chairpersons of the
County Committees on Employment of the
Handicapped shall be entitled to ex-officio
membership on the Committee. The Executive
Director of the Committee shall hold ex-officio
membership on the Committee.
