AN ACT concerning

Energy Saving Device Loan Program

FOR the purpose of creating a loan program to assist
residential property owners in financing the purchase
or installation of energy saving devices to be
administered by the Secretary of the Department of
Economic and Community Development; providing for
certain penalties regarding false statements; providing
that the provisions of this Act shall be transferred to
a certain authority if a certain event happens; making
this Act contingent upon the passage of another Act
that this Act shall be null and void if a certain other
Act becomes effective the provisions of this Act shall
be transferred to a certain authority if a certain
event happens; making this Act contingent upon the
passage of another Act; and generally relating to the
Energy Saving Device Loan Program.

BY adding to

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and

Administrative Departments
Section 257L-1 through 257L-6 to be under the new
subheading "Energy Saving Device Loan Program"
Annotated Code of Maryland
(1978 Replacement Volume and 1980 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
