county, respectively, as may be provided by law or
instrument of Charter, if adopted, be and the same is
hereby ratified and confirmed.

SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That if any
word, phrase, clause, sentence, or any part or parts of this
Act shall be held unconstitutional by any court of competent
jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality shall not affect the
validity of the remaining parts of this Act or of any other
section thereof.

SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect June 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Prince George's County - Tax Credit Deferrals -

Planned Industrial and Commercial Development

PG 407-81

FOR the purpose of authorizing the governing body of Prince
George's County to provide, by ordinance, a system of
tax credits deferrals for undeveloped land rezoned in
staged-development zones for future industrial or
commercial development; providing for the terms and
conditions for the termination and continuance for the
tax credits deferrals; and prohibiting the retroactive
application of this Act; and providing a certain
exception.
