ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY MAY GRANT A CREDIT AGAINST TAXES LEVIED

UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION UPON FUELS AND

UTILITIES PURCHASED, USED, OR CONSUMED BY NEW INDUSTRIAL

FACTORIES, PLANTS, WAREHOUSES, BUILDINGS, AND RELATED

FACILITIES, OR BY THE REUSE, OR EXPANSION AND GROWTH, OF

EXISTING INDUSTRIAL FACTORIES, PLANTS, WAREHOUSES,

BUILDINGS, AND RELATED FACILITIES.

(2) THE CREDIT MAY BE FOR A PERIOD OF YEARS AND
IN AN AMOUNT OR PERCENTAGE OF TAX LIABILITY AS THE COUNTY
COUNCIL DETERMINES, AND THE AMOUNT OF PERCENTAGE OF THE
CREDIT NEED NOT BE THE SAME IN EACH YEAR.

(3) THE COUNTY COUNCIL MAY IMPOSE OTHER

CONDITIONS OR RESTRICTIONS UPON THE GRANT OF THE CREDIT.

(C) ANY REVENUES COLLECTED UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF THIS
SECTION WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS SHALL
BE ALLOCATED AND DISTRIBUTED IN EQUAL AMOUNTS TO THE CITY OF
ANNAPOLIS AND TO ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That all laws or
parts of laws, public general or public local, inconsistent

with this Act, are repealed to the extent of the

inconsistency.

SECTION 3 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

State Employee - County Political Subdivision
Employees in State Employees' Health Insurance Programs

FOR the purpose of permitting county employees who

participate in the State Employees' Retirement System
to participate in the State Employees' Health Insurance
Program, with the approval of the governing body of the
county.

FOR the purpose of permitting political subdivision
employees to participate in the State Employees' Health
Insurance Program, with the approval of the governing
body of the political subdivision; providing that the
governing body of the political subdivision shall
determine the extent to which it will subsidize its
