2.  NOT ACCEPT FOR DISPOSAL ANY
LOW-LEVEL WASTE THAT HAS BEEN IMPROPERLY LABELED OR
TRANSPORTED;

3.  PROMPTLY NOTIFY THE DEPARTMENT OF
ANY ESCAPE OF RADIATION INTO THE ENVIRONMENT, DISCLOSING THE
RADIOACTIVE SUBSTANCE INVOLVED, THE COMPOSITION, IN TERMS OF
THE CONSTITUENT WEIGHTS, OF ALL RADIONUCLIDES, THE INTENSITY
OF RADIATION RELEASED, AND THE QUANTITY OF THE RADIOACTIVE
SUBSTANCE RELEASED;

4.  DISCLOSE TO THE DEPARTMENT THE
EXTENT AND NATURE OF ITS TRAINING OF WORKERS IN THE SAFE
HANDLING OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL;

5.  SUPPLY ADDITIONAL INFORMATION IF
THE DEPARTMENT REQUESTS IT UNDER PARAGRAPH (3) OF THIS
SUBSECTION; AND

6.  COMPLY WITH ANY FURTHER
REQUIREMENTS SET BY THE DEPARTMENT.

(2)  FROM THE REPORTS FILED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1)
OF THIS SUBSECTION BY OPERATORS OF LOW-LEVEL NUCLEAR WASTE
FACILITIES, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL COMPILE DATA AND PUBLISH
REPORTS ANNUALLY:

(I)  INDEXED BY TYPE AND QUANTITY OF
LOW-LEVEL NUCLEAR WASTE PRODUCED OR STORED IN EACH
SUBDIVISION; AND

(II)  ANALYZING AND DETAILING THE STATUS
AND QUANTITY OF LOW-LEVEL NUCLEAR WASTE IN THE STATE.

(3)  THE DEPARTMENT SHALL SEND COPIES OF THE
REPORTS PUBLISHED UNDER PARAGRAPH (2) OF THIS SUBSECTION TO
THE GOVERNOR, GENERAL ASSEMBLY, AND APPROPRIATE SUBDIVISION,
DETAILING THE ACTIVITIES AT EACH SITE.

(4)  WITH RESPECT TO REPORTS FILED UNDER
PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION BY OPERATORS OF LOW-LEVEL
NUCLEAR WASTE FACILITIES, THE DEPARTMENT SHALL NOTIFY THE
OPERATOR IN WRITING WHETHER THE INFORMATION CONTAINED IN THE
REPORT IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE DEPARTMENT.

[(2)] (4) (5) As a condition to the issuance of
a permit, the Department shall require a permit holder to
provide access to the facility by any authorized official,
agent, or employee of the Department and of the local health
department of the political subdivision in which the
facility is located at any reasonable time for the purpose
of obtaining water samples, drilling test wells, measuring
volumes and kinds of substances received and discharged, and
inspecting the facility.
