shall treat the petition as if it were a petition for an
order for emergency protective services under that section
and shall conduct the proceedings and make findings in
accordance with that section.
Article 81 - Revenue and Taxes
12F-3.
(a) In this section, the following words have the
meanings indicated;
(8) "Renter" means every person who is 60 years
of age or older or who qualified for benefits as a result of
a finding of permanent and total disability under the Social
Security Act, the Railroad Retirement Act, any federal acts
for members of the armed forces of the United States, or any
other federal retirement system, or by the [County Health
Officer] HEALTH OFFICER FOR A COUNTY or Commissioner of
Health of Baltimore City, and who was, during the calendar
year for which the credit is to be allowed, an actual
occupant of a dwelling in which he then had a leasehold
interest. Leasehold interest includes any joint tenancy,
tenancy in common, tenancy by the entireties, or through
membership in a cooperative which is leasing the premises.

(b) (1) When he is first employed and at intervals set
by the [local] health officer OR BALTIMORE CITY COMMISSIONER
OF HEALTH, each employee shall furnish certification to the
school administration that he is free of tuberculosis in a
communicable stage.
(3) The types of tests and the intervals between
these tests shall:
(i) Be regulated by the [local] health
officer OR COMMISSIONER; and
(ii) Conform to the standards of the
Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That section(s)
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (as enacted by Chapter 754
of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1980) be repealed,
amended, or enacted to read as follows:
