SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 6(g)
of Article 95A of the Annotated Code of Maryland shall be
construed in a manner consistent with Section 3304(a)(15) of
the Federal Unemployment Tax Act in order to assure that
Maryland's Unemployment Insurance Law may be certified by
the U.S. Secretary of Labor pursuant to Section 3304 of the
Federal Unemployment Tax Act.

SECTION 2 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this
Act shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Maryland Industrial Development Financing
Authority - Maryland Port Administration

FOR the purpose of making the Maryland Port Administration a
"public body" which may participate in a Maryland
Industrial Development Financing Authority transaction,
on a basis similar to political subdivisions and the
State Aviation Administration; providing that the
Authority may not approve certain mortgage loans unless
certain territorial requirements are met; and relating
generally to the participation by the Maryland Port
Administration in transactions under the laws
concerning the Maryland Industrial Development
Financing Authority.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
