(ii) Class E (trucks);
(iii) Class F (tractors); and
(iv) Class G (trailers).
(2) At the end of each week, the county
treasurer shall remit to the Administration:
(i) [Except as otherwise provided in
this subsection, all] ALL fees he collected for the
registration of vehicles under this section; and
(ii) A complete record of the
registrations made by him during each day.
[(3) In addition to the registration fees
required by this title, the applicant for registration of a
vehicle shall pay a fee of 15 cents for the services of the
county treasurer in registering the vehicle. The county
treasurer shall retain this fee when remitting the other
fees to the Administration. This paragraph does not apply
in Kent County.]
(d) (1) In Baltimore City, the Board of Estimates
shall determine from time to time which, if any, office or
department of the city government shall act as the agent of
the Administration in the registration of vehicles under
this section.
(2) If the Board of Estimates determines that a
city office or department shall act as the agent of the
Administration for a particular year:
(i) The Board shall notify the
Administration of its determination on or before October 15
of the preceding year; and
(ii) The office or department shall
receive and account for the fees provided in this section in
the same manner as required for county treasurers.
(e) (1) The Administration shall furnish the county
treasurers all of the forms, blanks, registration plates,
and stationery necessary to perform the duties set forth in
this section. [However, each county treasurer shall pay
for any required additional clerks out of the fees payable
to him.]
(2)(I) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL COMPENSATE THE
COUNTY TREASURERS FOR EACH REGISTRATION, IN AN AMOUNT EQUAL
TO THE ACTUAL COSTS INCURRED AS DETERMINED BY EACH COUNTY
TREASURER, FOR THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING OF EACH
REGISTRATION.
(II) EACH COUNTY TREASURER SHALL PAY FOR
ANY REQUIRED ADDITIONAL CLERKS FROM THE COMPENSATION THE
