Section 129, 158(c), 166, and 177D(d)
Article 5 - Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1963 Edition and 1970 Supplement, as amended)
(As enacted by Chapter 680 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1979)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (as enacted by Chapter 680 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1979) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Article 5 - Calvert County

The County Commissioners shall provide the necessary
office space and clerical help in order to establish a
full-time office of the State Employment Security
Administration. This office shall be located in Prince

Frederick.]

129.

(a)  As soon as the annual tax levy has been made and
placed in his hands, the treasurer shall prepare each
taxpayer's bill and mail it to him at the address shown on a
mailing list which the treasurer shall prepare for that
purpose. The list shall contain the name and postoffice
address of each taxpayer so far as ascertainable, and shall
be updated from time to time.

(b)  During the month of March succeeding each levy,
the treasurer shall prepare in duplicate all tax bills which
have not been paid and place them in the hands of the
several constables of the districts in which the property
assessed is located or the owners reside. The bills shall
be delivered to the parties owning the property and each
bill shall contain a notice that if it is not paid on or
before June 1 next after the date of the bill, the property
upon which taxes are owed shall be levied upon and sold to
enforce their payment. Added to the principal sum of the
State and county taxes in default and the interest on them
shall be an additional sum of 25 cents for the payment of
the costs of the service of the bill of taxes.

(c)  The tax bills which were prepared in duplicate
shall be placed in the hands of the constables on or before
the first Monday of April after the date of the bill. One
copy of each bill shall be:

(1) Delivered to the person or corporate
institution against whom it is made out[,];
