(B) UPON WRITTEN APPLICATION BY ANY MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION THAT IS LOCATED IN TALBOT COUNTY AND THAT
SUPPLIES WATER TO AN AREA OUTSIDE OF ITS CORPORATE
BOUNDARIES, THE COMMISSION MAY GRANT THE MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH A
SERVICE AREA OUTSIDE OF ITS CORPORATE BOUNDARIES AND TO
SUPPLY THAT AREA WITH WATER.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Mental Hygiene - Applicability of Certain Laws

FOR the purpose of assuring the applicability of the mental
hygiene laws to all hospitals and facilities affording
care or treatment, or both, to mental patients; and
repealing a certain section of the law relating to
providing that the licensing of private facilities for
the care and treatment of persons having mental
disorders shall be by the Division of Licensing and
Certification of the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene.
