SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

The Central Collection Unit of the
Department of Budget and Fiscal Planning

FOR the purpose of amending the responsibilities of the
Central Collection Unit by specifying certain
exceptions to the general language now found in Article
41, Section 71(c-l) of the Annotated Code; specifying
additional powers of the Unit; authorizing other State
agencies to assign to the Unit certain State claims for
purposes of litigation and collection; and generally
relating to the responsibilities and authorities of the
Unit.
