AN ACT concerning

Physicians - Discipline

FOR the purpose of altering the circumstances under which
submitting certain false statements for fees by a
licensed physician is a ground for reprimanding,
placing on probation, or suspending or revoking the
license of the physician; altering the grounds for
disciplinary action against a physician based on
overcharges; and making stylistic changes.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland

(as enacted by Chapter ____ (H.B. 1) of the Acts of the

General Assembly of 1981) be repealed, amended, or enacted
to read as follows:

Subject to the hearing provisions of § 14-505 of this
subtitle, the Commission, on the affirmative vote of a
majority of its full authorized membership, may reprimand
any licensee, place any licensee on probation, or suspend or
revoke a license if the licensee:
