or which the complaint is made. THE RESULTS OF COMMISSION
INVESTIGATIONS OF REALTORS REAL ESTATE AGENTS AND BROKERS
SHALL BE FORWARDED IN WRITING TO THE STATE REAL ESTATE
COMMISSION FOR APPROPRIATE ACTION BY THAT COMMISSION.
(b) If the finding is that there is probable cause for
believing a discriminatory act has been or is being
committed within the scope of any of these subtitles, the
Commission's staff immediately shall endeavor to eliminate
the discrimination by conference, conciliation, and
persuasion, AND SHALL FORWARD A WRITTEN COPY OF THE FINDINGS
OF ANY INVESTIGATION OF A REAL ESTATE AGENT OR BROKER TO THE
REAL ESTATE COMMISSION.
Article 56 - Licenses
(d) The Commission may refuse to issue a license or
renewal thereof to any person who has been convicted in any
court of competent jurisdiction in this or any other state
or district of the United States of any [crime which
constitutes a violation of any of the provisions of this
subtitle and] FELONY OR MISDEMEANOR INVOLVING DISCRIMINATION
OR VIOLATION OF ANY PROVISIONS OF §§ 19 THROUGH 24 OF
ARTICLE 49B OF THE CODE for which a license might be
revoked.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.
