Ch. 352

(iii) That the granting of such special
license is necessary for the accommodation of the public.,

(iv) That the operation of the premises
under such special license will not unduly disturb the peace
of the residents of the neighborhood in which the place of
business is located, and

(v) That in the opinion of the board the
granting of such special license will not be detrimental to
the general public welfare.

(5) A HOLDER OF A CLASS B, CLASS D, OR CLASS H
LICENSE MAY NOT CHARGE ADMISSION OR AN ENTERTAINMENT CHARGE
TO ENTER THE LICENSED PREMISES. A LICENSEE MAY CHARGE A
COVER CHARGE FOR ENTERTAINMENT WHICH MAY BE ADDED
TO THE PRICE OF FOOD OR BEVERAGE IF ENTERTAINMENT IS
AVAILABLE.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

a crime of violence.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments

Section 643B(a)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1976 Replacement Volume and 1980 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:
