Ch. 334

The Secretary of the Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene may grant a sum from the appropriation, subject to
the approval of the Board of Public Works, not to exceed
[$25,000] $50,000, to local nonprofit agencies to accomplish
the necessary renovation of newly acquired State-owned group
homes. However, in no event may a group home receive more
than one grant for renovation.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

AN ACT concerning

Bicycles and Bikeways

FOR the purpose of defining bikeway to mean any trail, path,
part of a highway, sidewalk, or any other travelway
specifically signed, marked, or otherwise designated
for bicycle travel; defining a certain other term; and
creating and defining certain classes of bikeways.
