(1) (I) A REGULATION SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE ON
THE TENTH CALENDAR DAY AFTER NOTICE OF FINAL ADOPTION IS
PUBLISHED IN THE REGISTER OR PERMANENT SUPPLEMENT, UNLESS
THE NOTICE SPECIFIES A LATER DATE OR UNLESS OTHERWISE
PROVIDED BY LAW.

(II)  IN CALCULATING THE EFFECTIVE DATE,
THE ISSUE DATE OF THE REGISTER IN WHICH NOTICE OF FINAL
ADOPTION APPEARS IS NOT COUNTED.

(III)  ALL OTHER CALENDAR DAYS ARE COUNTED,
INCLUDING SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, AND LEGAL HOLIDAYS.

(IV)  THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE 94, § 2 DO
NOT APPLY.

(2)  The issue date of the Register or permanent
supplement is the date of its deposit in the United States
mail for distribution and shall be printed prominently on
the first page of each issue.

(b) The effective date of executive orders, court
rules, administrative regulations promulgated by the Chief
Judge of the District Court, administrative memoranda,
administrative orders, and emergency rules and regulations
is the effective date indicated on the document.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

(Senate Bill 890)

AN ACT concerning

Somerset County - Alcoholic Beverages - Licenses

FOR the purpose of providing in Somerset County for the
establishment of certain licenses and appropriate fees,
precluding the issuance of certain licenses to persons
operating a drugstore business, altering certain
alcoholic beverages license fees; repealing
inconsistent provisions; and making this Act an
emergency measure.

BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,

Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages

Section 8(j-l), 9(i-l), 11(1-1) and (o), 13(g-l),

14(n-l) and (p), 16(u) and (z), 21(1-1) and (m)
