Annotated Code of Maryland

(1978 Replacement Volume and 1980 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That section(s) of the Annotated Code of Maryland
be repealed, amended, or enacted to read as follows:

Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative

Departments

256K.

(c) (1) One copy of every publication printed under
the authority of this subtitle shall be distributed free of
charge to the [following:

(1)  Every UPON REQUEST, EVERY judge of a state
court, except orphans' court judges;

(2)  The[Enoch Pratt Library [; ] and

[(3) The] THE State Law Library.

(2) (I) UNLESS A JUDGE MAKES A WRITTEN REQUEST
THAT A PUBLICATION NOT BE SENT TO HIM, THE DIVISION OF STATE
DOCUMENTS SHALL SEND FREE OF CHARGE ONE COPY OF EACH
PUBLICATION TO EVERY JUDGE OF EVERY COURT OF THIS STATE.

(II) THIS REQUIREMENT FOR FREE

DISTRIBUTION OF PUBLICATIONS DOES NOT APPLY TO JUDGES OF THE
ORPHANS' COURTS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1981.

Charles and St. Mary's Counties - Property Tax Credits -

Tobacco Barns

FOR the purpose of authorizing the Board of County
Commissioners of Charles and St. Mary's counties to
grant tax credits against local property taxes for real
property used solely as tobacco barns.
